The CGA-IGC Communication & Membership Committee will be highlighting a different #HereditaryGICancer syndrome on Twitter each day with information tailored for general community members in an effort to improve public awareness and education regarding these cancer predisposition syndromes.
The content will include information and resources related to Lynch syndrome, Familial Adenomatous Polyposis, Juvenile Polyposis Syndrome, MUTYH Associated Polyposis, Cowden Syndrome and POLE tumor predisposition syndrome.

On the occasion of Hereditary Cancer Awareness week and in collaboration with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) we look forward to our joint webinar on September 29 with Dr Greg Idos speaking about "Diagnosis and Management of Cancer Risk in the Gastrointestinal Hamartomatous Polyposis Syndromes: Recommendations From the US Multi-Society Task Force on Colorectal Cancer". Dr Idos will explain the updated USMSTF recommendations for the diagnosis and management of cancer risk in the gastrointestinal hamartomatous polyposis syndromes.
